Kurutto Odotte Hatsune Miku Stage

Here I'll be sharing how I made the "Kurutto Odotte Hatsune Miku Stage" using the vocaloid petite boxes.

I made the stage using 11 vocaloid petite boxes.
Since each box measures 6.5 x 6 x 6 (cm), there are adjustments needed.
I laid 6 boxes horizontally and 2 boxes vertically for the back. One of the vertical box needed to be trimmed around 5mm at the bottom.
I then laid 2 boxes horizontally and cut another one approximately in half for the front part.
I measured two boxes as follows (approx): 26.5 x 19.5 x 6 and 26.5 x 6.5 x 6 (cm)

I glued/taped the images on the boxes and glued/taped them together as shown here.
I uploaded a zip file of the images/logos here:

Personally, I think some parts were made sloppy, so I added original images that I used to make them. If you like to spiff it up, arrange it to your liking, be my guest.

This is a re-take of what I shot with a point and shoot (http://myfigurecollection.net/picture/35503) about a year and a half ago.
Hopefully this looks sharper and better in color now that I've moved up to a DSLR and have better knowledge about photography :x (For this shot, I made another base from a wooden board that's 1.8 cm high with exact same width as the stage. I taped an image of a wooden floor to match the situation)

And here's my set up shot. I have the flash unit on the camera pointed up to bounce off the white ceiling above for soft light to fall from above (hoping it lights the background). Another flash on the left with home made diffuser made from card board box and tracing paper ;). A reflector (white plastic board) for lightening up the shadows and to slightly decrease contrast.

And that's how I made the stage and this is how I display them in my display case ^^.

Thanks for reading!
